The Meaning

More Than a Ritual —
a Living Vow

In Chinese martial arts, baishi — "bowing to the master" — is the moment a student becomes family. It is not enrollment; it is entrustment. The disciple receives not just techniques, but the responsibility to carry a lineage forward.

For seven centuries this rite has linked generation to generation — from Chen Village to Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang, and now through Master Feng Yanbo, the direct lineage successor, to the next generation.

    • 向冯彦博老师及师母行鞠躬礼、递拜师帖、奉上礼物、奉茶
